Cookie policy

These keep the site working and secure. We store your cookie choice in your own browser (compton-cookie-consent) so we don’t have to ask you every visit — it stays there until you clear your browser data.

Our private guest book, which you reach with a link we send you, uses a small security cookie (compton-guest-book) so the password-protected pages stay locked. It is removed after 7 days.

The live availability calendar on our rooms page (provided by Inn Style) and the map on our contact page (provided by Google Maps) are run by other companies. They only load if you allow this category, and when they do, those providers may set their own cookies. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and Inn Style’s at innstyle.co.uk.

If you don’t allow them, you’ll see a simple message in their place with a one-tap button to switch them on — and you can always call or message us for availability and directions.

We don’t use any analytics or advertising tools at the moment. If we ever add one, it will only run for visitors who have agreed, and we’ll update this page before it goes live.
